As the Internet has developed so has the demand for more content and

more interctive services. The advent of broadband services has made this

viable and the aim of this site if to deliver a comprehensive view of Turunç.

For users with dial-up connections (56kbps), however, this can lead to a

slow and frustrating experience. With a lot of content, it's a bit like trying

to fill a bath through a straw. we have tried to reach the best compromise

(please see the requirements in the Virtual tour section) but for dial-up 

we admit this is not ideal.

The good news (in a sense) is that broadband prices have now dropped

to the level of dial-up just s few years ago. A good high-speed broadband

connection now costs around £15-20 per month (plus a one-off setup cost

for a special modem you will need) which compares well with the cost of

dial-up accounts of around £15. 

If you regularly use the Internet, we would suggest investigating this not 

just for this site, obviously, but to enhance all your interent use. In the
